Nekodia Minecraft Server

Nekodia is a whitelisted modded Minecraft 1.20.1 server. This means that:

  • Your Minecraft username needs to be added to the whitelist, i.e., it must be pre-approved, before you can play.
  • You need to use a modded (Fabric) client and install our modpack before you can play. Please read the Getting Started section.
  • The game is fixed to version 1.20.1, so some newer features such as Trial Chambers are not available yet. The update cadence of the server is intended to be slow.

To play, connect to the IP mc.skneko.moe. If you are asked for a port, it is 25565.

Server Style and Philosophy

We’re a small community of players who enjoy Minecraft without too much fuss. The server runs Create and a few other mods that make life easier (like graves - because nobody likes losing their stuff), but mostly we keep things simple and close to vanilla. You’ll find lots of shared builds and community projects around, since we enjoy hanging out and building together. The server is pretty stable since we don’t update too often, so you can just hop on, relax, and focus on your builds or automation projects. Whether you want to chat with us over voice chat or do your own thing, there’s no pressure - we’re just here to have a good time.

Overview of Mods and Features

  • Create with the Steam ’n’ Rails add-on: comprehensive tech mod adding mechanical systems, contraptions, and steam-powered transportation for all your automation needs.
  • In-Game Voice Chat & Discord Integration: talk with other players in-game using voice chat, plus seamless Discord integration to chat with players even when they’re offline.
  • Chisels and Bits: enhanced building tools that let you create incredibly detailed builds by manipulating blocks at a micro scale, while Create adds moving parts and mechanical wonders.
  • Graves: player graves are created when you die, safely storing all your items until you can retrieve them.
  • Quality of Life Features: teleport requests between players, improved elytra controls, and enhanced item tooltips for better inventory management.
  • BlueMap: we provide a live web-based map of the server, making it easy to coordinate with other players and mark important locations.
  • Performance Optimized: the server runs a carefully selected suite of performance mods like Sodium, Lithium, and Starlight to ensure smooth gameplay.
