Rules
The server rules are loose in order to give room to common sense. Administrators have the final decision regarding rule enforcement.
-
(Good Conduct) Respect all server members. Do not harass or purposefully offend anyone. Racism, sexism and hate speech are not allowed. Discussions must stop when they make members uncomfortable or cause remarkable public distress or scandal.
-
(No Cheating/Hacking) Client modifications that have the intention to break game integrity (cheats) or circumvent intended limitations (hacks) are not alowed.
-
(World Preservation) In order to preserve the natural beauty of the world, it is generally not allowed to spread the destruction of terrain to many different zones. Concentrate world destruction to contiguous and high-intensity areas, leaving the surrounding wilderness untouched.
-
(Private Ownership) We say an area of the world is private and owned by a player (or a group of players) when there is a building in it or near it, and the players have built or effectively control said building. Ownership may be agreed to be transfered or shared at any time.
-
(No Griefing) Players may not build or perform activities in private areas without approval from at least one of its owners. It is strictly forbidden to take any items stored in private areas without authorization, as well as changing the function or state of redstone circuitry and mechanical contraptions.
Players who activate and operate a mechanical contraption are responsible of all efects it exerts onto the world. May a contraption invade a private area, any owner of said area has the right to render the contraption inoperable using any means available, including intentionally damaging the contraption.
Exception: the owner may indicate (e.g., in a sign) that other users are allowed access the area or interact with some parts of it.
-
(Right to Build) It is allowed to build anywhere in the map as long as the new building is not too close to another existing building. You may build as close as desired if permission has been obtained from the owner(s) of the existing buildings.
Exception: it is generally not allowed to build close to the world’s spawn.
-
(Public Ownership) The owners of an area may optionally make it public, effectively donating it to the entire server. The operation and maintenance of public areas is a shared responsibility of all server members. Modifications to public areas must be generally agreed by the members of the server. A public area may be made private again if agreed by the members of the server.
-
(Right of Transit) Players have the right of free transit through any area which is not private.
-
(No PvP) Players must not intentionally and maliciously attempt to cause harm or kill other players through any means.
